At Treehorn, the safety of our staff, guests, and community is extremely important to us. We are monitoring the most recent information being provided by the CDC and WHO about the spread of SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19 and are taking proactive measures to ensure the health of our Treehorn family. The inside seating has reopened for on-site consumption as of 4/2/21, and we will continue to offer to-go pickup and extended patio seating.
Taproom OPEN Friday - Sunday! New distanced furniture, shady umbrellas, and a whole lot of cider, beer and tasty local snacks. If curbside pickup or outdoor seating is your thing, we’re keeping that too! Everything but the friendly faces and great cider is bit new, here’s how it will work:
If you've visited our patio in the past year (thank you!), you'll notice we've switched back to bar service and discontinued table service. This was a hard choice, and while it was the only choice when we were patio only, it's not something we can sustain. We hope you'll enjoy your visit just as much!
We’re doing all the things (and more) recommended by the CDC — tables 6 feet apart, all the sanitizing, hand sanitizer available, increased air circulation and it feels like a million other things. Every single little thing is important, which is why we’ve been a bit slow to reopen to make sure we can welcome you back safely! As of new CDC recommendations in July, all employees will be masked regardless of vaccination status. We request that customers wear masks when not at their table, but especially while ordering at the bar. We have a big, open space, with plenty of room for social distancing, but the safety of our employees is a top priority.
TASTING ROOM HOURS: Friday 4 - 10 pm, Saturday 1 - 10 pm, Sunday 1 - 7 pm.
TO-GO PICKUP HOURS: Friday 2 - 10 pm, Saturday 1 - 10 pm, Sunday 1 - 7 pm (to-go orders must be placed at least 30 minutes in advance).
Cider: Buy six packs and growlers online, and you will be notified when it's ready for pickup at the cidery.
Food: Y’all need to eat, and we want to support local makers in a safe environment. These are people who live in our community, making awesome stuff.
We're also a farm box pickup location for our friends at Tucker Farms on Fridays.
How it works: order online here. When you get a ready order notification, you can do one of two things, either come inside to pick up your order, or call 678-503-5000 and select option one once you arrive for pickup from our patio. We’ll bring it out to the patio and check ID if necessary for alcohol. Please be patient with our staff when picking up orders on the patio via phone, they may also have a line inside!
How we’re keeping it safe: All prepackaged food vendors are certified to produce food by county and state health authorities. Treehorn is regulated by more agencies than you can count on a federal, state and local level, and sanitation is literally our job (you can’t make good booze without good sanitation), so we’re already used to strict sanitation protocols.
To keep everything legal, we will still need to check your ID for any alcohol purchases. We also need to stick to current state regulation of one case per day per adult (288 oz).
- We have enhanced our already rigorous cleaning and sanitization schedule and will disinfect all of the most commonly touched surfaces with increased frequency using an EPA approved cleaning solution.
- All employees are wearing masks, regardless of vaccination status. We have gone back to requesting customers to wear masks when not at their table, but especially while ordering at the bar.
- We are filling Treehorn growlers only at this time.
- As always, we expect anyone that comes to the cidery to closely self-monitor themselves and not come inside if they are sick. Employees are monitored daily.
- As halting the spread of disease must be a community effort, we also ask that you be mindful of the recommended preventative measures from the CDC.
We will continue to stay up to date with the most recent information about the pandemic, and will keep you informed if there are any future changes to our policies or tasting room hours.
