At Treehorn, the safety of our staff, guests, and community is extremely important to us. We are monitoring the most recent information being provided by the CDC and WHO about the spread of SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19 and are taking proactive measures to ensure the health of our Treehorn family. The tasting room patio has reopened for on-site consumption as of 6/6/20, and we will continue to offer to-go pickup.
Taproom patio now OPEN Friday - Sunday! New distanced furniture, shady umbrellas, and a whole lot of cider, beer and tasty local snacks. If curbside pickup is your thing, we’re keeping that too! Everything but the friendly faces and great cider is bit new, here’s how it will work:
🍎 Arrive, choose an empty table with a sanitized sign.
🍎 Peruse menu, place order on your phone, we bring you cider. It’s that easy!
🍎 Unless you need to use the bathroom, it’s staff only inside. Since we are an open and active production facility, masks are required to come inside use the restroom (we’ll have some disposable ones if you forgot yours, just ask).
🍎 Please choose a table that fits your group — most of our new tables fit 2-4 people, no groups larger than 6.
🍎 Patio service is 21+ only for now, we love all our families with kids, but have limited seating.
We’re doing all the things (and more) recommended by the CDC and required by the governor’s order — staff wearing masks, tables 6 feet apart, all the sanitizing, hand sanitizer available, no cash, and it feels like a million other things. Every single little thing is important, which is why we’ve been a bit slow to reopen to make sure we can welcome you back safely!
PATIO HOURS: Friday 5 - 9 pm, Saturday 2 - 9 pm, Sunday 2 - 6 pm.
TO-GO PICKUP HOURS: Thursday 1 - 5pm, Friday & Saturday 2 - 9 pm, Sunday 2 - 6 pm (to-go orders must be placed at least 30 minutes in advance).
Cider: Buy six packs and growlers online, and you will be notified when it's ready for contactless pickup at the cidery.
Food: Y’all need to eat, and with grocery stores packed and shelves empty, we want to support local makers in a safe environment, especially with uncertainty in farmers markets. These are people who live in our community, making awesome stuff.
We're also a farm box pickup location for our friends at Tucker Farms on Fridays.
How it works: order online here. When you get a ready order notification, call 678-503-5000 and select option one once you arrive for pickup from our patio. We’ll bring it out wearing gloves and check ID if necessary for alcohol.
How we’re keeping it safe: All prepackaged food vendors are certified to produce food by county and state health authorities. Treehorn is regulated by more agencies than you can count on a federal, state and local level, and sanitation is literally our job (you can’t make good booze without good sanitation), so we’re already used to strict sanitation protocols.
To keep everything legal, we will still need to check your ID for any Treehorn alcohol purchases. When you call our number for patio pickup we’ll give you instruction for how to do that. We also need to stick to current state regulation of one case per day per adult (288 oz).
- We have enhanced our already rigorous cleaning and sanitization schedule and will disinfect all of the most commonly touched surfaces with increased frequency using an EPA approved cleaning solution.
- Members of the public are only allowed inside the cidery to use the bathroom during patio service. Masks are REQUIRED to enter our doors.
- As always, we expect anyone that comes to the cidery to closely self-monitor themselves and not come inside if they are sick. Employees are monitored daily.
- As halting the spread of disease must be a community effort, we also ask that you be mindful of the recommended preventative measures from the CDC.
- We are not filling non-Treehorn growlers, but are discounting our growler glasses if you would like a fill.
We will continue to stay up to date with the most recent information about the pandemic, and will keep you informed if there are any future changes to our policies or tasting room hours.
